Friday--Starts my Birthday Month!!!!!

Today starts my Birthday month. Since I'm over 55 I get to have a Birthday month.
One day in February is my Birthday. But not today.

I like this flip quilt calendar, that I've had for many years. I was considering buying a knitting flip calendar just because I like knitting so much...maybe sometime. This is NOT a hint! I'm not so sure I would like it. No need to surprise me, please.
Not to be sappy, but I'm so gratefull and glad for my family and friends. They bless me daily, although some/most/actually all of them bug me constantly, which is a HUUUUGE blessing. Some of my friends do not hear from their children and families for a long, long time. I love it when they *bug* me. "The blessing of the LORD, it maketh rich, and he addeth no sorrow with it. " Pro 10:22--I saidddd, no sappyness...quickly, let's look at the snow.
Here are some pictures of the last snow we had. Now, it is all gone; but for the few patches.

When I opened the back door to take this picture all the snow blew in like in a Little House on the Prairie storm when Pa comes from getting provisions and all the snow comes in first and them Pa with only one box of 'groceries'. It was great! I would have liked to have a picture of that.
This is the little accumulation on the screen, very picturesque.

You could barely see to the corner of our neighbourhood. I think that it could have qualified as a blizzard, but they called it blowing snow. And again 3"!!!!

I think that our friends to the south, like SM in Oklahoma got a foot, she'll have to let us know.

Got my goat's milk yesterday. It was very windy, which made the temperature near zero degrees F. I had to stand outside for quite a while. I loved it. I was really cold and my fingers and toes were numb. I would not live outdoors, but being so cold every now and then is very invigorating. When I finally got in the car it seemed warm. It was cloudy and I did not feel the heater until one mile from home. I'm glad it was not icing on the windshield.

This is one of my pincusions. I like to make pincushions also. In the back you can see three sweaters that need mending--MOTHS!--a stitch in time saves nine, they say, and it's pretty much true.

This is a little basket with sewing notions for all the knits. I'll leave you with this:

"The fear of the LORD is the beginning of knowledge: but fools despise wisdom and instruction." Pro 1:7
In His hands, ^__^

Love your snow pictures. We didn't get a single flake of snow here. The last time it snowed a lot (about 18 inches) was back in the 1980's. We're lucky if we get an inch every now and then.
