It seems that there must have been some sort of typo...you see the world map shows that there have been ONLY 12 deaths from the swine flu in Mexico, and 300 people INFECTED.
But, hey! we are only the media...don't you know that we are busy creating panics in other parts of the world about other things??? huh? Who do you think we are? We are endeavouring to keep your mind reeling, so you cannot think things through. This was not...I repeat NOT supposed to cause undue panic in the various populations...just cautions...er...wash your hands, 'n all. We're outta hee-ah!

It seems that the panic re swine flu is spreading quicker than the actual flu. Yes there have been some cases here but they have all seemed mild and my son who works in the hospital said no one there is concerned. So is this another case of not letting the truth get in the way of a good story?
It hardly qualifies as an epidemic. People are over reacting.
I agree with Jules! Good stories get higher ratings. No one seems to consider that there are hundreds more that die during the Fall Euthanasia, oops, I mean the Fall Flu Shots.
Let the lemmings scare the lemmings.
