Since the Lord said: "...Take heed that ye be not deceived..." Luke 21:8a, we ought to take heed!
Since I've been born there have been many, many things, which happened, that some may have thought were the 'end of the world', but have not been. Furthermore, when one reads Luke chapter 21 one must plainly see ALL that Jesus said would happen in the future, He said not to be terrified, and not be deceived.
In the light of the moronic prediction of the 'end' of 5-21-11 we all should take heed to the Lord's words from Luke 21 starting on verse 8.
Yeah, the deceivers say that Jesus is whom He said He is. (so, just because they say the name of Jesus does not mean they are true men of God) [remember that wolves in sheep clothing are wolves--that is: they have to cover up what they really are] They say, look at all the stuff that is happening, the end must be near. And I say, sure it is! nearer than when we first believed! As Jesus says in vs. 9 the end is not by and by (that is: not yet) All these things must come to pass, and watch, it will happen.
Now. look: Today, (5-24-11) Mr. Obama is in London, where many flights have been cancelled because of the huge plume of ashes from the Iceland volcano.
Mr. Natanyahu is speaking to Congress; but, no one is paying attention to what Mr. N has to say. The world's attention is on the Midwest where tornadoes have destroyed lives and property, horrific!
Farther south on the Mississippi River flooding has been unprecedented, hundreds of thousands were affected, displaced or homeless.
Are we (the USA) not putting ourselves at risk, by not supporting FULLY the land of Israel, which was GIVEN, not just promised to God's people, the apple of his eye, His chosen from among nations, hmm?
Can we not remember the recent past? when we did not pay attention to the removal of many Jewish families from their homes...hmm?...Katrina blew in to American soil and displaced, i.e., removed, 10 to 1 the number of American families from the South as had been removed from Gaza, on the same week!
(There were many people who saw the parallels at that time, so I won't bore you with it)
Now I say to Mr. Obama, the Senate and the Congress, Behold the hand of the Lord! Pay attention! and know that if you abase yourselves we shall all suffer, but if you hear what God says, and do it, we shall be spared.
I beseech you, with much beseeching, look to the Lord who made us, and hunble yourselves before him.
Joel 2:12 Therefore also now, saith the LORD, turn ye even to me with all your heart, and with fasting, and with weeping, and with mourning:
Joel 2:13 And rend your heart, and not your garments, and turn unto the LORD your God: for he is gracious and merciful, slow to anger, and of great kindness, and repenteth
Joel 2:14 Who knoweth if he will return and repent, and leave a blessing behind him; even a meat offering and a drink offering unto the LORD your God?
These are days of seriousness.
