I got this in the mail

I have been waiting for more than 4 years for this book to be back in print. And here it is!

I ordered it from here. When I called she told me that the books are sold before she opens her box of books.

I had seen the original book in Amazon for $97.00 and in Amazon UK for 173 pounds sterling. (sorry I don't have the little 'L' with the '=' through it) That is almost $400.00!!!!

I know this book is valuable, but I knew it would be back in print, with the boom in embelishments. This book is the unabashed, unequaled, cyclopoedic stitch compendium.

Kuddos, to Miss Carole Samples of Nebraska.

This is my most recent set of napkins, for Mrs. #2. She is the most *soft-earth-tones* of my people, and when I went to the fabric store, this was the last bundle of *soft-earth-tones* they had left. The 'monogram' is embroidered and then appliqued on each napkin.

These are the napkins I made for #1, last year. Sort-of the same but #1 likes dark greens for her table.

Now to the 'ugly yarn' socks for DH.

This is the heel in a toupe color that went well with the not-enough ugly yarn, so called.

Ta-daaah! they are finished! Slouchy, roomy and wide, just like he ordered. He really likes them.

And lastly, I had to show you these beautiful strawberries. I posed them in this pretty, garage sale find. We had the berries for desert after dinner tonight. With home made, whipped cream.
Ok, ok...they were very, very good.
Now I have about a pint of whipped cream, and no more strawberries...what to do????
Should make some chocolate something, before it gets too hot...tomorrow should be in the 40sF so I'll have a good oportunity to bake a chocolate something or other, when I get back from getting stamps from the post office.

I still have not figured how to get the date off of the pictures. I may be looking in the wrong place for that information. I've gone to Kodak's page, but have not found how to exclude the date from the pictures. The booklet that came with the camera only tells me what I figured out by myself.

There may be some person, techier than I, in the family who may help me with this annoying thing.
I'll leave you with this:

"The young lions do lack, and suffer hunger: but they that seek the LORD shall not want any good thing." Psa 34:10
In His hands, ^__^
