Computers...hahh!

Hello Girlie Girls:

Been off line, but still knitting, crocheting, mending, baking, etc., only I had a very bad virus/malware.  Some called it "this is a mess" and others called it "impossible to get rid of."

OK, not so fast...worked to get rid of it...nothing... genius son...and...voila` he repaired most of it.  The email portion is still off, now is up to my email 'keeper' to do the rest.  It is all, so time consuming...and I have to make phone calls or stay "under the rock" so I cannot communicate electronically.

Oh, yeah, we also had a power outage a couple of times...but only for a few hours.  It was nice having candles...no phone...no computer...no nuttin'  cool, eh? (like Nancy Today says)

Yup, I got some pictures but cannot use the port yet...in a few days...

I'll leave you with this:

Updating blog after a million years...

Good Morrow, Girlie-Girls:

Yup, I'm here.
All's well.

I will be updating the blog and posting pictures of the things that I've made since last July.
It may take me a while, but, I'd update.

I'll leave you with this:

"For I have kept the ways of the LORD, and have not wickedly departed from my God." Psalms 18:21

Still,

Making cake and muffins in the toaster oven

Got a new toaster oven last month.  So I'm making some muffins shape little cakes, and what could not fit in the muffin tin, I put in a pie pan.  I'll let you know how it comes out.

Still playing with the header photo...I should get it right soonish.

As far as weather, you know, it's hot...but getting a respite this week.

All's well cause the stores have their back to school sales and that makes me glad for the cooler weather that is coming.  Although some people still have to go on vacation, nevertheless, the back-to-school sales show that fall is not so far away.

I went to Hobby Lobby--love that store--and got some flowers for my Mom.  These are a sort of nosegay.  One is tea roses and the other one is a coral and pinkish.  They were on 50% off sale [how great is that] so she gets 2 bouquets for the price of one.
She does not like to, nor is she interested in taking care of house plants or flowers so these silk flowers should do the trick.  She loves to have pretty flowers, so I'll trade them once a week or so.

Ok, girlies, gotta go make dinner,

I'll leave you with this:

Taking a course on placing pictures

Yea, I've been swirled by having been gone for so long.  So there!
This is worse than missing a week of exercise.
"They" have taken away Picnik...what will I use now????  I've been to the google+ yadah, yadah, and I must not be looking in the right place.

If any of you are using a good picture resizing page, let me know.  Already spent more than 2 hours looking and 'trying' to no avail...sigh...

In the meantime...no pictures,

I leave you with this:

Almost one year?

Now I have to learn to navigate the new blogger format.
In fact, reading blogs has not been included in my daily routine.  Why?...well...like with everything, it was a combination of many things.  Some of which are:  busy with the care of my Mom, twice daily now, and for the last 8 months or so.  Still have all the other people and life.  Besides I did not get an extra 4 to 6 hours more per day, but, you say, we all have the same 24 hours! Yes, I must reprogram myself and family for these changes.

Perhaps it is fatigue, or weariness.  Yup, I'm getting used to it--or rather--becoming accustomed to all the different things.

There are some pictures I must download for you.  Let me see if I remember...be right back...

200th post...Irene and the 13 original colonies...almost

Hello and Happy Bicentennial post to me!

I had not kept tract of the number of posts, but when I opened my blog it told me the number.  WooHoo!

But I was pondering the significance of Irene hitting the 13 original colonies, except for Georgia.  What would that be?
Why those and not the others?  Well, like all meteorological/seismographic events, that is, those events over which we have no control, we consider why does the wind blow here and there, but not over there and beyond.  Be that as it may...the beautiful shores-- that were dedicated to King James I who also commissioned the Bible to be written in English--suffered great damage.  It seems that the physical damage of the place affected by Irene--percentage wise, as in relation to the rest of the US--appears to be the same amount of damage done to the King James Bible by those God hating, "rome" loving heretics Wescott and Hort.  That work, now known as the Nestle-Aland Greek text had 30,000 words omitted or changed form the text received by all.  Therefore, of  the 783,137 words in the English Bible 30 thousand is a bit under 5 percent.  There must be some correlation with the population affected as it relates to the entire population; or perhaps, the land mass.  Somebody is going to calculate this information and present it.  I will keep my eye on it and see how far off I am in my guessing.

You may not see it as significant, but I do.  See, we, the Christians of the US have adopted the work of Wescott and Hort in the form of all the revisions, translations, paraphrases, whichever way they would call all the English Bibles since the KJV.  All those--every one of them--are based on the corrupt Nestle-Aland text, even the Jehovah's Witness' New World Translation.  [check me out]
Oy vey!  How dumb can we be?!  Some may have done it in ignorance, but the evidence is so abundant, exponentially so...fractally so, that I would say "who could continue to be ignorant?"  Those who are 'willingly ignorant' (II Peter 3:5)
We brought that romish Revised Version to our shores--in a collaboration, in 1881, that is 130 years ago...time to reap a whirlwind...do we get it?  How about an earthquake for an appetizer...a 5 point earthquake is no biggy, but in Virginia...named so by the very King James I...
Sure, sure, it is all a giant coincidence...now, be quiet and pass the pizza!

My point being the constant irony of the entire set of events.  This year, 2011, is the 400th anniversary of the first KJV publication.  It was the same King James I who sent people across the Atlantic to bring the gospel to these lands.  (Whatever 'they' say about why people came over from England in the early 1600s, it was because of the love of the Word of God that King James I had, and having known the Word of God very well, he knew the good effect it would have on any people)  History revisionists are loud and effective in perpetuating their lie, but check them out.  Check me out!--and not by reading 'their'--the revisionists books only, but all the books that were written in the 1600s by authors that were there at that time.  Google is a marvelous research aid, if you do not have those books in your library, and do not have access to a city library.
[make sure to read King James I correctly, King James the first]

Such a serious post, for a 200th post...no giveaways, no fun stuff, just historical facts...sigh...and...a 'heads up!'

I'll leave you with this:

Ironic Irene...

Hey, Girly Girls!

Do you find it ironic that 'they' would name an hurricane IRENE? It is the Greek word for PEACE, i.e., "Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid."  John 14:27
But...who knows?  Will Irene 'strike' the Eastern Seaboard on the 27th? Or will it cause its most spectacular devastation on that day?

So, girlies, let not your heart be troubled, trust in Him who is your Peace.  As Paul says in Ephesians 2:14 and 15
  "For he is our peace, who hath made both one, and hath broken down the middle wall of partition between us;
Having abolished in his flesh the enmity, even the law of commandments contained in ordinances; for to make in himself of twain one new man, so making peace"

?>?>?>?>?>?>?>?>?>?>?>?>?>?>?>?>?>?>?>?>?>?

On the subject of needlework, baking, and other fun stuff...no-thing! Done none of it...so hot and sticky, I cannot bring myself to touch wool.  I tried on a 'coolish' day, but for 20 seconds, and that was enough!

It looks like we have just a few more days of hot heat and then some cooling--real cooling--will be coming our way.

Speaking of 'natural' stuff...some people have been saying that at a BIG earthquake event in California, some time in the unforseen future, the lovely sunny state will fall into the ocean.  You've all heard that, haven't you?
Well, it seems that this alarmist statement is completely true:  the USA will brake off at the Allegheny Mountains and everything West of there will go into the Pacific.  (Soooo NOT true...)  Although God would be absolutely justified if He did that, He won't.
That was a simple statement to make sure you were awake and paying attention.

Better get the next load in the washer.

I'll leave you with this:

"That in the ages to come he might shew the exceeding riches of his grace in his kindness toward us through Christ Jesus." Ephesians 2:7
